About Glyph Barn

Glyph Barn is a plain reference of colour names and their hex codes. Each page shows one colour name with the values the source list records for it, printed as recorded; a value the record leaves empty is shown as “not available”.

The site has no accounts, forms, newsletter or tracking scripts. It is built as static pages from two downloaded data files.

Sources

English Wikipedia, “List of colors: A–F”, “List of colors: G–M” and “List of colors: N–Z”. The full wikitext of the three list pages was fetched through the MediaWiki API on 2026-10-30. The colour pages built from them credit Wikipedia and link the list page each row came from. Licence: Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) and the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL).

All other pages are released under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license and the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL).

Color Names (meodai/color-names). The curated colour-name list with hex values, fetched 2026-10-30; the names carrying the good-name flag are the ones with a page here. Licence: MIT-style permission notice.
